Mary received her BFA from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea; her MFA from The City College of City University of New York, New York, NY; and her MA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI. She was born in New York City yet spent most of her life in Seoul, Korea. Her current series of work, The Odradek Tower Series, is her on-going investigation in the relationship between two dimensions and three dimensions, illusion and reality, representation and function, form and meaning, tradition and invention.
