///DAVID GREENWOOD : SCULPTOR
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
David received his BA in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his MFA from the University of Kansas, Lawrence. Currently he is Professor of Fine Arts at Kendall College of Art & Design, Grand Rapids. His sculptures are thematically designed following three intertwined threads - boat forms as a metaphor for such things as cages, beds, coffins; dwellings which examine the issue of sanctuary vs. imprisonment; and animals as allegory for humans in crises.
