The focus of my creative energy is in the public sector. I am interested in creating enriched environments that integrate the diverse fabric of urban areas and reveal the character of a place and its users. My work is intended to serve as a catalyst for urban revitalization and improved environmental health. Themes such as mapping, inventory of past and present conditions and the generation of ideas for the future compose the multi-layered character of the work. Each layer is supported by smaller ideas such as the poetry of voice, sometimes natural and other times cultural, community connections, environmental sustainability and historic/cultural sensitivity.
