///PEKKA VESTERINEN : PAINTING

Pekka studied at the Savonlinna Art School and the School of the Academy of Fine Arts.  He is a painter who primarily works in oil on canvas, and the scale of his works range from 5 to 10 feet.  Pekka's use of rich, vibrant colors within a square frame evoke a sense of movement.  His brush strokes remind one of fast motion captured in a photograph.  Pekka's work is full of light, communicating a sense of optimism and tranquility.  He has been widely shown over the last 20 years in Norway, Finland, Italy, Nepal, Germany, and Austria.
