///ALBERT CASANYE : SCULPTURE

A sculptor from Barcelona, Spain, Albert attended the Massana Art School, and his work has been exhibited in many countries including Spain, Germany, Holland, France, and now the United States. He approaches his work with the intention of convincing others to acknowledge the existence of universal feelings as well as the validity of different points of view. For him, sculpting is a cathartic process in which he works through his emotions, and his pieces encourage viewers to think about their own feelings. Albert's work is about possibility. He begins with basic shapes such as the cone and the sphere, and creates optical distortions that reflect many views and different meanings.
