///DIANA PUNTAR : SCULPTURE, MIXED MEDIA

Diana holds an MFA from Tufts University, Boston, and a BA from the University of Maryland.  She is a sculptor who incorporates furniture and design while exploring issues of taste, wealth, and class in the United States.  Her work hovers between functional, minimalist, and schlock as she examines American ideas about 'good' taste, 'bad' taste and high and low culture.  She focuses on synthetic materials that mimic the real - cheap stand-ins for 'natural' products.
