///PEGGY RIVERS : PAINTING
Location: Rock HIll, SC
A committed painter since her late teens, Peggy holds a BFA from Humboldt Sate University in California and an MFA from Columbia University in New York. She is a full-time instructor at Gaston College in North Carlolina as well as Director of the Gaston College Gallery. Peggy pursues distinct bodies of work, usually 25 plus paintings that are based on previous sketches. Each series evolves from its predecessor and, therefore, a consistent thread is created that records her existence as an artist. For the past few years, her work has focused on the exploration of color, space and form in an attempt to create a universe within each of works.
