A native Charlottean, John is a movement artist, essayist, and playwright as well as a director, producer, vocalist, mover, and collaborator with artists of myriad media, including literary, photographic, graphic, video, and performance artists. He creates and embodies a host of characters existing in the delicate moments between despair and breakthrough. Through his artwork, he explores "moments where people always give up just a little too soon." Residencies and performances across the United States and Europe herald John's passion for words and defiant theatricality.
