Orginally from California, Tom has been a Charlottean since 1984. He freelances as a textile designer and has been exploring painting and three-dimensional design for the past fifteen years. Exquisitely realized in several mediums, from painting and sculpture to installations and marionette theater, Tom's work is multifaceted. He often creates modern day versions of the powerful and spirited fairy tales that he remembers from childhood, and in doing so, he passes on a combination of the moral lessons learned in those fairy tales with a realization of similar messages in the teachings of Catholicism.
