Deeply rooted in family history and community tragedy, Erin M. Riley’s woven tapestries are markers of time and catalysts for community conversation about addiction, loss and isolation. Riley earned a BFA in Fibers from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a MFA in Fibers at Tyler School of Art. She is featured in the Spring 2011 issue of FiberArts Magazine and a featured artist in the store at the Society of Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA in Fall 2011.
