The center of Sundar's work is and has always been the concept of identity. Over the years, her themes have shifted from intercultural and social to more private matters, but the subjects of identity, emigration and displacement have remained the same. Her work revolves around the dissonance of belonging and not belonging, around the multiple and often contradictory elements that define our identities. Sundar has exhibited her work in galleries and museums across Germany and Latin America.
