///MARGE LOUDON MOODY : PAINTER

Summer Affiliate Artist Marge Loudon Moody was raised in East Africa and Scotland. Since moving to the United States in 1982, the artist has made abstract, mixed-media paintings that reflect the essential nature of her surroundings. The subject matter of her recent work is inspired by Italy and reflects the transient nature of color and light and the contrast of ancient and modern in that country. Moody is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
