Born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee, Jennifer received her BA in Business Administration from Furman University before turning her focus to art. She then went on to receive her MAT in Art Education as well as her MFA from Winthrop University. Also, she has spent time at the Penland School of Crafts. Themes found in Mythology influence her works that reflect a struggle between the human and the divine. By using symbols to create complex patterns, Jennifer's work wrestles with the metaphorical space between the question and the answer.
