Bringing the study of neuroscience into the making of large-scale abstract works of art, Laurie Frick uses pattern, words and color to replicate the feel of neurons firing in the brain. Frick holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and an MFA from the New York Studio School. She has exhibited nationally and has been awarded a residency fellowship at Yaddo. Laurie Frick is a Carolinas HealthCare Artist-in-Residence.
