Echoing generic middle-America imagery, Lori Larusso paints flat, interior spaces and manicured semi-private outdoor spaces, devoid of personal information that suggest a relative level of comfort and social acceptance.  Larusso received a BFA from the University of Cincinnati and a MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has exhibited nationally and has been awarded an Artist Enrichment Grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women.
