
TOUR: GANTT CENTER

Join the Contemporaries at 6 PM on Thursday, October 13 at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture for a private tour of Paper Trail: Romare Bearden Works on Paper with Ce Scott, Creative Director for both McColl Center for Visual Art and the Gantt Center. Scott will address Bearden's rarely seen watercolors and prints which explore themes relative to African American cultural experiences as well as Bearden's personal experiences in North Carolina and the Caribbean.
Romare Bearden: The Life, featuring photographs by Frank Stewart, and Beyond Bearden: Creative Response, featuring work by artists inspired by Bearden, will also be open for viewing during this event.
Free for Contemporaries Members, $8 for Non-Members
