Most recently, the Innovation Institute team was able to work with Community Culinary School of Charlotte, a non-profit organization that strives to provide valuable culinary skills to those struggling with and seeking employment.

This past Tuesday, February 16th, the board members for this organization were taken on a unique journey with Institute Artist, Shaun Cassidy.  Using creativity as a catalyst, participants were able to “think differently” about the challenges currently faced by their organization and utilize the art-making process in order to better articulate improvements that could be made.  From ladders draped in fabric to the construction of an Olympic-like torch, the boardroom of the McColl Center for Visual Art was transformed into a visual representation of the group’s barriers and how to overcome them.
