P2P 2009!

P2P 2009! The much anticipated, highly awaited, carefully crafted, bigger and better than ever... signature Contemporaries event. If you thought perhaps P2P was a technical nickname for the website, I'm sorry to have misled you - P2P actually stands for Palate to Palette, the Contemporaries of McColl Center for Visual Art's signature fundraising gala.

Back for the second year, P2P offers guests an evening of wine and art pairings with the opportunity to mix and mingle with artists and other guests in the spectacularly transformed sculpture studio. Guests will have an all-access pass to artists’ studios and the Center’s amazing Decade + Collected exhibition. Participating artists and featured wines will be profiled so you can get to know them and their work while drawing relationships and stark contrasts between the two mediums to create a perfect harmony. All proceeds of this event go towards supporting the Contemporaries’ mission of offering creative opportunities for individuals with an intellectual curiosity about contemporary art, to deepen, expand and cultivate interest and knowledge through interaction with artists nurtured through the Center's dynamic residencies and exhibitions.

If by chance you happened to miss the 10-year anniversary celebrations on September 25, we invite you back for an evening that will be just as exhilarating. And since we realize that parking Uptown can be daunting, plenty of free parking and valet service will be available. Last year Palate to Palette sold out, so get your tickets this year in advance and join us for music, food, wine, art and more.

Join us! Saturday, October 24 from 7-10 PM. A limited number of tickets are available to this very special event. Ticket prices are $50 dollars for Contemporaries members and $75 for non-members.
