Join WFAE’s Public Conversation Series at McColl Center for Visual Art for a community forum designed to convene Charlotte-area residents for discussion of timely and relevant topics. The goal is to create comfortable settings that encourage a stimulating and enlightening exchange of ideas. Join us on Tuesday, June 15 from 7 to 8:30 PM as panelists and audience members discuss Charlotte’s track record for preserving historic properties and examine the benefits as well as common obstacles to preservation efforts. The conversation will also explore public attitudes and perceptions towards local historic preservation. Forum Moderator will be Lisa Miller of WFAE News and the panelist include: Diane Althouse, Executive Director - Historic Charlotte, Inc., John Rogers, Administrator - Charlotte Historic District Commission and David Wagner, President - Wagner Murray Architects.
