CLOSING RECEPTION, AUGUST 20

“Fried,” a savory exhibition by Franco Mondini-Ruiz celebrating all things fried and fun, comes to an end on Friday, August 20. Mondini-Ruiz has presented contemporary kitsch in a fresh new way and questioned our assumptions about “high” and “low” art. So if you haven’t had the chance to check out this mouth-watering exhibition or you just want another taste, then be sure to join us!

And for the past three months, the affiliate artists have been steadily producing a collection of work which will be on exhibit in the galleries and in the studios of each of our artists on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Having reached the end of their term, our summer affiliates (Diana Arvanites, de’Angelo Dia, Heather Freeman, Carmella Jarvi, Indrani Nayar-Gall, Patricia Raible, and Chris Watts) are walking away having experienced the gift of time and space. Join us in saying goodbye and wishing the best and brightest future to our talented artists.

And at 7:15 in the Boardroom, Summer Affiliate Artist, de'Angelo Dia will perform "Negritude Movement," exploring the dichotomy of personality and identity.
