///VOLUNTEER
McColl Center for Visual Art is actively seeking interns and volunteers! Internships are unpaid; however, they can be arranged for college credit. Students and recent graduates in art programs, either in administration or studio, are ideal candidates as the Center is a dynamic artist community providing an excellent opportunity for students to interact with artists, obtain firsthand knowledge about arts administration and non-profit organizations.
Interns perform a host of tasks including, but not limited to, gallery reception, graphic design work, assist in installation/de-installation of exhibits, open house events, partnering with a current Artist-in-Residence, assisting with lectures and workshops, data entry, administrative assistance, and front desk reception.
Applicants should possess strong communication, computer and interpersonal skills, as well as a
flexible attitude regarding job duties. Interns will be expected to set a weekly schedule; hours vary
and are flexible..
